Use:
N-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-1-[3-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-2,4-cyclopentadien-1-yl]-1,1-dimethylsilanamine is an organosilicon reagent, which is commonly used in silylation reaction, reduction reaction, Heck reaction and addition reaction in organic synthesis reaction. In addition, it can also be used as a precursor of an organic electroluminescent diode (OLED) material.
Preparation Method:
N-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-1-[3-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-2,4-cyclopentadien-1-yl]-1,1-dimethylsilanamine can be synthesized by the following steps:
1. Preparation of 1,1-methyl ethyl toluene (MTBA).
2. The cyclopentadienyl bromide is reacted with 2-methacryl lithium to obtain 3-(1,1-methylethyl)-2,4-cyclopentadienyl lithium.
3. react with MTBA in frozen ethanol solution to generate 3-(1,1-methylethyl)-2,4-cyclopentadienyl toluene.
4. Silylamine is reacted with 3-(1,1-methylethyl)-2,4-cyclopentadienyl toluene to obtain the target product N-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-1-[3-(1,1-dimethylethyl)-2,4-cyclopentadien-1-yl]-1,1-dimethylsilamine.
